The Ann Arbor Hash Bash is an annual event held in Ann Arbor Michigan, on the first Saturday of April at ‘high noon’. Next year’s Hash Bash is scheduled to take place on April 2, 2022.  Events for Hash Bash usually take place on the University of Michigan Diag and include a collection of speeches, live music, and street vending all geared towards the goal of reforming federal, state, and local laws surrounding marijuana.  (https://www.facebook.com/groups/AnnArborHashBash/)

Another event, the Monroe Street Fair, usually takes place around the same time just down the street from the Hash Bash events.  The Monroe Street Fair (aka: Hash Bash Festival, aka: Free Fest Freedom Festival) was put on by a couple of friends in 2002.  This event is totally free and showcases a wide variety of bands from different musical genres. Together, these two events attract over 20,000 patrons and parking can sometimes start filling up as early as 11am!  Patrons for these events tend to park primarily in the Forest and 4th & Williams structures with Maynard and Liberty Square being the next best choice; however all of our structures are open for parking.
