Parking meters are located on most downtown streets & ten metered lots.

Meters are $2.20/hour Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Meters are free on evenings, Sundays and all federal holidays observed by City employees.

Parking time limits are posted on meters or shown on the screen at the epark kiosk. Legal parking durations vary from 30 minutes to 10 hours. Always check signs carefully before parking. Only park up to the maximum time that is posted for that meter.

How To Pay

Two options for paying at a meter.  Be sure to note your space number as you park.

  1. Pay on street at a e-park pay station.  You can use any pay station on the way to your destination. Instructions on how to pay at an epark kiosk
  2. Pay by App using the epark Ann Arbor app on your smartphone. Information at eparka2.com.

The app is free to download and saves you a trip to the pay station. You can also extend your parking sessions remotely and receive email receipts. The DDA is covering the cost of the convenience fee so the app is free for all users.
