Parking meters are located on most downtown streets and nine metered lots.
Meters are $1.70/hour Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Meters are free on evenings, Sundays and all federal holidays observed by City employees.
Prepaid Epark cards can be purchased for the meter kiosks.
Parking time limits are posted on meters or shown on the screen at the epark kiosk. Legal parking durations vary
from 30 minutes to 10 hours. Always check signs carefully before parking. Only park up to the maximum time that
is posted for that meter.
These solar powered pay stations are designed to make parking at an on-street space easier, more convenient, and energy efficient. Epark meters have replaced many traditional meters in high demand downtown parking areas. Epark allows you to pay for your parking with the Ann Arbor ePark App for your smart phone.
The app is free to download and saves you a trip to the pay station. You can also extend your parking sessions remotely and receive email receipts. The DDA is covering the cost of the convenience fee so the app is free for all users.
To download the app and see phone payment process go to eparka2.com

Traditional meters accept coin only. Meter numbers are four digit numbers located on the post of the meter. Some meters include the letter “A” or “B” on the meter head.
Prepaid cards can be loaded in increments of $25 up to $100. Cards require a $10 deposit at time of purchase. No refunds will be issued for damaged, lost or stolen cards.
If you still have a cash value card that has money on it, please contact us and we will be happy to that transfer that amount to an E-Park card for your future use.
Use exact change every time and take the hassle out of searching for loose change to feed meters. Cards can be purchased at our Maynard office at 324 Maynard Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. For more information, please contact (734) 761-7235.
